League of Legends.
League of Legends is a typical MOBA in every sense of the word. The first such game was the well-known "Dota", and "League of Legends" fully continues its traditions. For those who do not know what we are talking about or have simply forgotten what MOBA is, we will quickly recall the basic concepts of the genre.
A standard square map for 5×5 battles, divided diagonally by a river into two opposing sides. Each team has a base from which three lines lead to the enemy side. Rival units (creeps) will march along these three lines from the beginning of the game, and it is on them that the main events of any MOBA game party unfold.

To win, you need to destroy the enemy base. To get to it, you will need to demolish all enemy towers on at least one of the lines.
There are more than a hundred characters with unique abilities and mechanics to choose from.
The game has an economic model: you can earn gold for destroying buildings, as well as killing heroes, creeps and neutral creatures. The more gold you have at the moment, the more the enemy will get for your murder.
Money can and should be spent on buying artifacts - items that improve the characteristics and abilities of your hero.
The outcome of the battle is decided by a well-coordinated team game and the interaction of characters.
If in theory many elements of League of Legends (or just LoL) and Dota coincide, then in practice the sensations of these games are very different.
For example, in League of Legends, almost all heroes need to be paid for (with real money or in-game currency), while in Dota, most of them are available from the first game. If a player in LoL needs to win only a couple of victories to buy the cheapest characters, then the rest can be opened for an eternity without additional investments. Therefore, the developers have come up with a simple but effective move: players are given 10 different heroes to try out for free, which will change every week.
