    Premier Badminton League


    The Premier Badminton League is India's only commercial or franchise badminton league. It was founded in 2013 under it was known as the Indian Badminton League and has been growing to become international renown and popular tournament in India. The inaugural campaign of the Indian Badminton League featured six teams including Hyderabad Hotshots taking home the trophy. The event didn't take place for three years following the first season. The event was revived in 2016 under the name of it was renamed the Premier Badminton League. This season, the 3rd of Premier Badminton League will feature the Hyderabad Hunters.


    Ranking Tournaments


    The BAI organizes a range of All India ranking tournaments at different levels, including Sub Junior (u13 and u15) and junior (u17 as well as u19) in addition to senior (u17 and U19). Tournaments are scheduled all through the year and in all kinds of cities. It ensures that everyone gets the chance to play and that every talent is not recognized.     Teams comprised of Reserve Bank of India, LIC of India, BSNL Sports Board, Airports Authority of India, Food Corporation of India, Ordnance Factory Sports Control Board, Department of Atomic Energy, Air Force Sports Control Board, and Employees State Insurance Corporation will play in both individual and team events during each year's All India Inter-Institutional Badminton Tournament.


    Men Singles Men Singles Doubles Women Singles Women Doubles mixed Doubles comprise the different divisions that are part of the team event.

    The best team will be invited for Senior Nationals. Senior National Championship and the Finalists of all events will be eligible to participate in Senior Nationals.


    Sub Junior Indian National Badminton Championships


    Badminton Events in India: annually, the Sub Junior National Badminton Championships are held. They usually take place in the middle of each year. It is expected that the 32nd Sub Junior Championship will take place in 2018. It generally falls into two categories U13 as well as U15. Girls and boys can participate in the event. Furthermore, under each of them the common divisions of doubles and singles. Doubles are two singles. participation from the state and the top 16 singles and the top 8 doubles players in BAI rankings BAI ranking, are allowed to participate in the competition.
